Easter on the Meadow is a magic time. It makes me feel young and happy.  We love to soak in the sun and nibble at the autumn grass while the last of the summer flies try to snuggle into our fur to keep warm.

Arthur McHale McHop, the Dutch rabbit who lives alongside the house, gets special treats of carrots and apples and listens to the humans talking about the Easter Bunny!

The dogs go to the creek with their humans to lie in the shade of the willow trees and have their portraits painted. Then they go running back to the house and are allowed inside to sit next to the fire and watch the humans eat their chocolate eggs and bunnies. Dogs are not allowed to eat chocolate because it makes them very sick so Edith watches them very carefully!

I love Easter.
