Dr Kathleen Mary Bokey is a medical specialist with over 20 years experience working with children and adolescents with psychological and mental health problems. She works principally in the narrative therapy model, helping children find their voice and craft the story of their lives. She is also a great lover of literature and horses, the latter passion starting at age seven when her aunt gave her the treat of a pony ride in Centennial Park, Sydney, Australia.
She works three days a week as a doctor, rides horses five days a week and spends every day thinking about the stories which hatch in the lives of the horses, dogs and humans on the Meadow. Sometimes, when she gets a moment, she writes them down.
